Was a little leary about this product but upon receipt and reading the directions carefully as previous reviewers had specified I am so happy with everything about it. To whomever said the motor kept stopping - it's in the directions - you're putting too much pressure on the knife - let the product do it's job. Highly recommend this sharpener.
The Presto Pro EverSharp works quite well. Because I have always "sort of" sharpened my knives, I was able to skip "Stage 1." For such a small sharpener, I am completely satisfied with how it sharpens and it is easy to store.
I have tried many sharpeners. This one results in a perfect cutting edge and is easy to use. It's by far the best I have ever had.
Very simple to use. It will remove a lot of metal if used too frequently but I can't see using this sharpener but once or twice a year even under heavy use.
This does exactly what it says it will do. Reasonably priced as well.
